We teamed up with Well and Good to develop an immersive and playful experiential installation for Converse Shoes to promote their new upcoming line of waterproof winter boots.
Converse just released a new line of waterproof winter boots and was looking for a fun and engaging way to promote their September product launch.
We developed an experience to simulate winter weather in the fall season for a different kind of influencer activation event.
The medium we chose was a motion-tracked floor projection. At the pop up activation, we worked with the client to develop an interactive floor to give influencers a taste of what it feels like to walk in winter weather.
Using motion-tracking sensors and light projections, the digital snow-covered floor could be uncovered by walking overtop, track foot gestures and triggering delightful animations as people wander about.
Throughout the 4-day PR activation across Toronto and Montreal, hundreds of media influencers were invited to try on their new Converse winter boots and walk across the interactive snowscape, revealing a real-time view of a colorful cityscape below.
